There are four positions open for election on the upper willamette soil & water conservation district board of directors. after the election, these positions will fill a term to begin on january 1, 2023. Today, o ur service area includes the watersheds of the long tom, upper willamette, coast and middle forks of the willamette, umpqua, siuslaw, and coastal headlands, rivers, streams, and lakes from reedsport to lincoln city. For the past three years, the council has worked closely with the eugene water & electric board, upper willamette soil and water conservation district, and mckenzie river trust to conduct watershed restoration activities on private property and non federal public lands impacted by the wildfire.
