Game Teleporting Script Not Working Scripting Support Developer I’m awesomeagent404 and i am trying to make a game teleporter but every time i try to test the game i get this error. i have tried two methods for a game teleporter that i found a tutorial for and both of them don’t work. i don’t know what else to do. I have no idea why this isn’t working, but you could try replacing with the set actor location node (which i assume does roughly the same thing) and see if that works?.
Teleporting Script Help Scripting Support Developer Forum Roblox You may want to set a cooldown timer so you aren't constantly teleporting every time your player enters the teleport trigger. there are a few other ways to solve this issue but they can get messy with layers etc. First, you cannot use local player inside of a regular script (only works with local script). second, you could utilize instead a moveto () function to where it teleports the player to the position of a part. The really weird thing is that the scripts and models work in other games, however when i implement these things into the game we are working on it doesn't work. one thing to note is that it was working in earlier version however when returning to those version it's still broken.
