Singapore Future Problem Solving Program Future problem solving empowers curious youth around the world to become changemakers. each year students compete in a variety of education challenges inspired by real world issues. The program looks at current technological, geopolitical, and societal trends and projects those trends 20–30 years into the future in order to train students to develop solutions to the challenges they may face as adults. fpspi was founded by creativity researcher ellis paul torrance in 1974. [1]. Fpsp is an international educational program for students of all ages, focusing on the development of critical, creative and futuristic thinking skills. Introduced in our school in 2017, the fpsp is a two year programme offered to a selected group of primary 4 and 5 students. at primary 4, students learn about the six step creative problem solving process using authentic learning scenarios.

Our students learn to analyze real world issues and apply a 6 step creative problem solving process to develop relevant action plans. Future problem solving proudly celebrates 50 years of placing close to a million young people at the core of a dynamic, purposeful learning experience. each year k 12 students around the world participate in a variety of challenges designed to empower curious youth to become changemakers.
