Basic Assurances Factor 6 Safe Environments This monthly webinar series will explore all ten of the basic assurances® factors, from rights protections and promotion to basic assurances® systems. This 6 minute animated video provides an overview of the basic assurances® (ba), covering how it helps the field evaluate the essential, fundamental, and non negotiable requirements of all human service organizations and systems.
Basic Assurances Department Of Disabilities And Special Needs This manual is intended as a guide for organizations and systems to design their systems and practices around basic assurances®, as well as to assess how well they are implementing the basic assurances®. Organizations must meet cql criteria for basic assurances® to ensure accountabilities for health, safety and human security are in place in both systems and practices. Therefore, the criteria for factors four, five and six protection from abuse, neglect, mistreatment and exploitation, best possible health, and safe environments is set at 100%. the system and the practice for all indicators in each factor must be present to meet the 100% mark. During the accreditation visit, interviews, focus groups, and data reviews were completed. plan development cql presented findings outlining current basic assurances® and personal outcome measures® alignment. the organization subsequently developed a plan to enhance these areas based on results.
