Basic Assurances Factor 6 Safe Environments This 6 minute animated video provides an overview of the basic assurances® (ba), covering how it helps the field evaluate the essential, fundamental, and non negotiable requirements of all human service organizations and systems. This monthly webinar series will explore all ten of the basic assurances® factors, from rights protections and promotion to basic assurances® systems.
Basic Assurances Department Of Disabilities And Special Needs This manual is intended as a guide for organizations and systems to design their systems and practices around basic assurances®, as well as to assess how well they are implementing the basic assurances®. Organizations must meet cql criteria for basic assurances® to ensure accountabilities for health, safety and human security are in place in both systems and practices. During the accreditation visit, interviews, focus groups, and data reviews were completed. plan development cql presented findings outlining current basic assurances® and personal outcome measures® alignment. the organization subsequently developed a plan to enhance these areas based on results. Cci, inc. has reviewed and revised where needed all agency policies, procedures, and practices to align with ba standards in order to offer the highest quality of services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Cql facilitated a rigorous assessment of the organization’s systems and practices related to basic assurances® through a variety of activities including, but not limited to, document and policy reviews, targeted interviews, site visits, focus groups, and personal outcome measures® interviews.
