Forge Community Loan Fund Forge, inc. is the oldest revolving community loan fund in arkansas. the mission of forge is to promote community development and economic sustainability by linking investors with borrowers, urban and rural communities, consumers with producers, and low income groups with basic affordable credit. Forge Community Loan Fund Hispanic interest coalition of alabama (¡hica!), is dedicated to supporting latino communities an. Desde su creación en 1998, forge ha servido a emprendedores a través de los ozark y el estado de arkansas con asistencia técnica, capacitación en el desarrollo de negocios y micro préstamos, trabajando principalmente con individuos de bajos recursos y servicios ajustados a esas comunidades. Certified cdfis are part of a national network promoting economic growth in america’s underserved communities by financing businesses, creating jobs, and rebuilding neighborhoods. as a cdfi, forge community loan fund puts the community first and values local, economic growth. To make low interest loans to farmers, small businesses and struggling families, forge needs money to lend. forge currently has 200 member investors with investments ranging from $50 to $250,000.

Forge Community Loan Fund Certified cdfis are part of a national network promoting economic growth in america’s underserved communities by financing businesses, creating jobs, and rebuilding neighborhoods. as a cdfi, forge community loan fund puts the community first and values local, economic growth. To make low interest loans to farmers, small businesses and struggling families, forge needs money to lend. forge currently has 200 member investors with investments ranging from $50 to $250,000. To make such arrangements, contact a forge staff member by calling 479.738.1585 or email [email protected]. the forge office is located at 4415 u.s. hwy 412b, huntsville, ar 72740. the forge office is handicap accessible. The general credit fund is the primary fund from which forge makes mission aligned loans that do not fit into any of the other lending programs. loans made from the general credit fund have the most flexibility on terms. These loans are for necessities like car repairs, mortgage payments, and utility bills. they do not come from the investment loan fund, but rather from donations from our generous members. to donate, please contact the forge office. Forge was founded in 1988 by a group of organic farmers from throughout the ozarks bioregion of arkansas, missouri and oklahoma. they were concerned that farmers wanting to incorporate sustainable agricultural practices into their farming systems were being hindered by a lack of affordable capital.
