First Run Features The short answer, though, is that you’ll only get the full story of resident evil 2 by playing it (at least) twice — once as leon and once as claire, that will give you the whole picture. Below we’ll tell you whether or not a b scenarios and zapping made it into resident evil 2 remake, and what the differences are between the 1st and 2nd runs.

First Run 2 First Run Do a first for a character then a 2nd with the other character for the full story. if you still want to replay it then just do it the opposite way around with the characters. the campaign doesn't change all that much but a 2nd run is still the way to go for the 'full' story. I played leon first, then claire second run. now i unlocked leon second run. is there any big difference besides fighting the boss final form and getting true ending?. Ty all for the responses, i completed the 3rd run (claires 1st run) earlier today, and i am now on the 4th playthrough (leons 2nd run) just about to open the jail cell. i will check out the other scenarios once i'm done, too. then it's off to re3 remake. The 2nd run ties in a little bit better, but only in the beginning of the game. the last 2 3 of the game is almost exactly the same as 1st run. also, in the 2nd run, you will find notes. Honestly, the second run is tougher for a variety of reasons, so if you just want to purely enjoy the story, play claire 1st run. you'll get the same side of her story. the only difference is you don't see the final boss hinted at at the end of the first run (in the train). It's a bit confusing, because on the 2nd run you see minor evidence that the 1st run character was around, but it's to be assumed that they went through by unknown ways. so in the end, i suppose the "best" scenario is b but just because it lets you see the ending.
