Just becuz you played a brilliant move doesn't mean you played well. yes, 90% of chess games are won because of a tactic. but as a great man gave me advice: focus on positional play and blunder checking over finding great tactics. use the cct rule for both you and your opponent. Now i didn't believe him. i thought he was bluffing. but when i posted the link to my game in the forum post all of your brilliant moves here, i asked people to see if i played a brilliant move. and one person said yes. now i asked him to prove it. and it was a brilliant move. i was shocked.
