Figure G Maya Decipherment Maya decipherment is a weblog devoted to ideas and developments in ancient maya epigraphy and related fields. we welcome contributions and the participation of colleagues and students from around the world. With this initial decipherment of ancient maya graphic hand signs, we have a solid basis on which to hypothesize, test and refine our understanding of them by examining additional texts, including other (non maya) ancient mesoamerican texts.
