Pdf Designing An Elearning Portal For Developing Countries An Action Bibliographic details on designing an elearning portal for developing countries: an action design approach. Our analysis offers nuanced insights into the complex interplay of infrastructural, technological, and contextual factors that shape e learning outcomes in diverse environments. Because challenges are interrelated, based on the findings we propose a conceptual framework of emerging issues for e learning in developed and developing countries. the framework is useful to guide both practice and research. This guide has been developed to provide guidance, examples and good practices for the design and delivery of e learning solutions, based on the work undertaken by the fao elearning academy over a 15 year period. the guide has been funded by fao union through the global network partnership programme. the document builds on and supersedes. Increasingly, e learning platforms are taking center stage in learning and research in institutions of higher learning in developing countries. in this paper, i will attempt to examine the concepts of design, use and evaluation of e learning platforms as explicated in the extant literature. Using the first stage of development research this paper presents an empirical study that aimed to explore and understand the current practices of collaborative elearning in a developing country context.
