Far Cry Primal Review
Far Cry Primal Review Far cry primal succeeds in transporting the far cry formula back in time and comes to the table with a quiver of neat ideas and a dangerous and fascinating open world. Taming animals, exploring the world, and fighting rival tribes makes the game feel fresh and memorable. the atmosphere, sound design, and world building are incredible, and it deserves way more credit than it gets. this is why far cry primal is a 10 10 — the most underrated far cry game.
Far Cry Primal Review Rocket Chainsaw Far cry, but in the stone age. hiding in the shadows out of sight, i watch a group of hunters from a rival tribe chase after the bear. i follow, hidden, until they corner it. a fight breaks out. Far cry primal takes place in 10,000 b.c. in the introduction i mentioned that far cry primal didn’t appeal to me initially because of the drastic shift in it’s gameplay. however, my opinion changed once i actually played the game. the main story lasts around 15 20 hours. Far cry returns, but trades in its modern day mountains for a prehistoric setting. but can its tribal foes and mystical creatures match up to the guns and honeybadgers we know and love?. I've never really liked the idea of a far cry game in the prehistoric era because i feel like it just wouldnt be as fun with bows and spears and don't know if it's still worth buying in 2024. i wouldn't brush it off so easily, especially since 5's entire melee weapon system was ripped from primal. Primal still uses the basic open world framework of a traditional far cry game, with a cascading series of outposts to capture, weapons to unlock, and upgrades to craft. but the stone age. A leaner, hungrier far cry from a bygone age that falls slightly short of achieving its potential. picture a moment in space and time. it can be anywhere and anywhen. The game offers a vast world to explore, exciting combat mechanics, and a unique stone age setting. despite minor flaws like tedious crafting and repetitive combat, the overall positive reception outweighs the negatives. far cry primal delivers a satisfying and immersive gaming experience.
