Far cry 4 starts beautifully. the story seems interesting at first, and the main antagonist, pagan min, is visually striking, a truly scary psychopath. the first nine missions are fine, nothing extraordinary, but they set a good pace. after that, the game just… stops telling you where to go.

To wrap things up, i thoroughly enjoyed playing far cry 4 for a second time. out of all the entries in the franchise, far cry 4 was one of the games that i’ve really been wanting to replay and i’m glad that i did. it was fun revisiting the fictional location of kyrat. the story is pretty good. From what i have heard about it, many people adore the game's antagonist, setting and game play, though i am also aware that many people will consider it inferior to far cry 3, which is still considered the best in the whole franchise.
