External Display Linux Nvidia Developer Forums I have an hp omen laptop and an external screen connected to an hdmi port. recently i installed ubuntu on dual boot. graphics drivers from "additional drivers" was set to "x.org x server" by default as i remember. I recently migrated from linux from windows and i can't get my monitor to work. i know it does work, it worked while i was on windows and it worked while running the live linux installation. i am using a laptop with a thunderbolt 3 egpu running a nvidia graphics card. i have yet to import any files from windows, this is as clean as it comes.
