With more than 40 simulated courtroom and boardroom experiences, students apply legal theory in practical settings. through our externship program, they also earn course credit for legal work in the field. From learning labs and libraries to dining and fitness facilities and from green spaces to entertainment venues, there’s no shortage of things to do, people to meet, and places to go at ou. I have other offers and decisions pending, and scholarships at both ku and ou, but as of now i am looking to determine which of these two schools are better regarded and if there are any anecdotal opinions out there. Anyone have any thoughts or experiences to share on ou law? i’m an experienced oil and gas professional and most likely will end up in some sort of energy or natural resource law upon graduation. It doesn't matter what the job is, it all adds up to experience of working in a law firm and knowledge of how they function. i left the legal profession last year as i realised it wasn't the right fit for me. i was under constant pressure to bring in more fees and work longer hours.
