The theme of the third session of europan is at the intersection of that proposed for the first competition, which studied the interior of the home as a function of the evolution of lifestyles; and that of the second, the re evaluation of the place of habitation on urban sites under conversion. Carlos & zuhal’s winning proposal for europan 13 transformed the sava river in zagreb into a vibrant, adaptable space. instead of controlling the river, they embraced nature’s flow, creating a permanently temporary urban park that changes with the seasons and local needs.
