Educational Programme P4play The p4play research programme ran from 2019 to 2025 and was established around the development of a new innovative joint phd programme in occupational science, applied to four areas of play: people, place, policy and practice (p4play). P4play will bring together leading international researchers in the field of occupational science and play for children at risk of play deprivation, along with partner organizations who are leaders in championing play rights of children.
Programme For Active Learning P4play developed a sustainable doctoral programme that delivers ambitious and high quality graduates to drive innovative research and practice in occupational science and therapy in europe, to train a new generation of early stage researchers (esrs). The p4play programme adopts a child's rights based perspective and aims to investigate the nature of play through the lens of people, place, policy and practice (p4play). The p4play programme addressed four areas: play as an activity, the influence of policy on opportunities for play, different play spaces, and the role of play in rehabilitation. the p4play project has now been completed. P4play stands for the four dimensions "people", "place", "policy" and "practice" and aims to explore knowledge about children's play and the consequences of a lack of play opportunities in order to develop innovative and creative solutions so that all children can live out their right to play.
