Album Review Eclipse Wired The Rockpit In any case, we’re focusing on the latter band’s newest release, “wired.” eclipse’s last studio album, “paradigm, ” eclipsed the band’s previous successes and vaulted them up to greater international attention and acclaim (especially the single, “ viva la victoria”). If you aren’t familiar with them, eclipse are a melodic hard rock band out of sweden and they understand how to deliver heavy rock anthems with gang vocal choruses, ripping solos and catchy, yet simple, lyrics. the album opens with the incredible “roses on your grave” and what a banger it is.
Eclipse Wired Album Review ‘wired’ of course was preceded by the single, ‘saturday night (hallelujah)’ and the new record sees the swedish quartet going for it, creating an uplifting, anthemic record to recharge us all after the pandemic. However, wired is another solid release from one of sweden's finest rock bands, and is a testament to the power of good songwriting. eclipse never fail to satisfy my craving for straightforward melodic hard rock. For a number of years now, eclipse have been one of the biggest names in melodic hard rock circles, and one of my go to bands when a dose of hard rocking and hook laden music is what i need. Picture a perfect amalgam of def leppard's hysteria in the vocal department, meshed with the wild shredding solos of jake e. lee and craig goldy and a truly riveting vocal performance out of erik mårtensson that would make the likes of mark boals and jeff scott soto take notice.
