Eames Drum Set Reverb This kit is the best of both worlds hand crafted, 35 year old, thick eames north american birch shells with a subtle modern aesthetic. each shell has been hand selected each based on thickness and bearing edge for maximum tone. this kit will handle absolutely any genre of music with ease. Through skilled workmanship and the use of high quality materials, mr. eames became a master drum maker, thereby upholding the fine tradition of his predecessor. today i am still crafting each drum shell by hand in this new england tradition.
Eames Drum Set Reverb These drums have been well maintained and are in great condition, considering their age. the original 3 piece kit (18, 12, 14) is believed to be from 1982, while the additional 10 inch tom is from around 1989 90. In 1982 i drove up to saugus mass. and had the eames drum company build me a set of their birch drum shells, drilled for gretsch hardware. if i recall correctly, eames acquired the machinery that was used to build gladstone drums. I was hoping some eames snare owners on here may be able to share a bit about their drums, especially if anyone happens to have a few different shell variations. This set was rescued from a large music retailer and was in rough shape, however the shells were round and true. the kit has some “battle scars,” but it has a nice patina and sounds fantastic.
