E 25 Tank The e 25 designs, in the 25 50 tonnes weight class, were to be the replacements of all panzer iii and panzer iv based designs, with involvement of the alkett, argus, adler and porsche firms. A series of vehicles with a weight ranging from 25 to 30 (or up to 50 tonnes, depending on the source) was to be developed in order to replace the existing tank destroyers.
