Dr Probe Gui Input Structure Modification
Dr Probe Graphical User Interface The input structure model is provided here by download in form of a cif file. you can load this cif file in the slice creation dialog and then open the structure modification dialog by pressing the [view & modify] button. The user interface is build in dialog form with input controls for parameter setup and managing data. results of simulations are shown in additional data display windows.
Dr Probe Graphical User Interface The structure modification dialog as shown by the screenshot below can be used to view and modify the structure model currently loaded by the slice creation dialog. Load and modify an atomic structure model. select a super cell file containing the atomic structure model describing the sample. choose either a cel file or a cif file for loading. the selected file will be analyzed and loaded and information about the cell dimension and the number of atoms shown. Gui: stabilized handler thread communication. gui: fixed gpu selection on multiple gpu systems. dr. probe, stem image simulation software package. The user interface is build in dialog form with input controls for parameter setup and managing data. results of simulations are shown in additional data display windows.

Images related to stem probe formation as generated by the dr. probe user interface showing (a) an aberration function, (b) a ronchigram at 90 nm defocus, and (c) a probe intensity distribution. The dr. probe software is a tool package for stem and tem image simulations. it comprises a graphical user interface and a bundle of command line programs. documentation is provided by pdf files, in form of "howto" text files and on the documentation pages of this website. Dr probe a gui focused program that uses the multislice algorithm in its simulations. dr probe is straightforward to use and most tasks can be performed using the gui, although a command prompt based approach is also available. The parallelization concept used with the dr. probe gui distributes individual multislice calculations over multiple cpu cores available on a given machine and combines the results to stem.
