Dr Arjan Khalsa Home Facebook Those of you know me, since my 7th grade science teacher showed us a national geographic documentary about the destruction of the costa rican rainforest , i’ve been doing the little things that i can, in my orbit, to mitigate the waste that i create and discard to the chagrin of my family and those who visit my home (i’ve been told that someone visiting was annoyed because i don’t use paper towels), i recycled wherever i can, i have been reusing both shopping bags and produce bags for the last 30 years, i go out of my way and take my own coffee cups, utensils and metal straws out with me so that i don’t need to acquire more crap that’s going to end up in the landfill i know it’s ‘inconvenient’ for people and embarrassing for my kids and takes more effort on my part, but i want to feel like it’s worth it… like the probably thousands of plastic bags i’ve not taken from the store, that maybe that’s doing a little something. This channel started out of my desire to teach my patients about home remedies that were a bit off the beaten path, so that they could use those outside of our work in the office. After the er visit with my daughter, we picked the doctor we wanted to go to and didn’t have to wait for pre approvals for any of the imaging, surgery or follow up visits.
