Discrete math 2 passed! this course was one hell of a 6 week journey. i studied on average about 20 hours a week. although the material was interesting, the zybook leaves much to be desired as far as explaining things clearly. First, there's a lot of notation you won't understand without dm1. you'll see a lot of parallels between concepts learned in both. hell, algorithms are functions. the text didn't come right out and say it, but you'll see these connections as you go through it. so, don't just discard that knowledge. it'll probably help you learn dm2 a little easier. I just passed discrete math 2 and figured i'd write a post to help others with this course. i will be using my usual format and discuss the course overall, what i did, and what i wish i did. there will be a tldr at the bottom if you don't feel like reading the entire post. It's a compilation of several different prominent creators for discrete math, including trevtutor, kimberly brehm, and trefor bazett. i highly recommend using the videos to go through each unit and then going back to the zybooks and completing the questions there.
