Breaking the cycle of crises that affect too many children and families requires investing in the simple but effective measures to reduce the impact of natural hazards, tackle the underlying causes of vulnerability, and enhance preparedness. By 2024, more than 24,000 children and adolescents from communities that are vulnerable to multiple risks will be trained to participate in disaster risk reductions plans in their communities in 16 municipalities from six provinces across the country.
