Stanford Libraries Digitization Services See examples of the various collection materials digitized at stanford libraries and learn about the factors, decisions, and special processes that go into producing and presenting digital library content. Our labs are capable of converting a wide variety of traditional library materials to digital formats, including printed books, journals, fine art, photographic prints and negatives, maps, manuscripts, and more. While the program arms share a common mission, and deliver integrated and consistent services to users, the digitization work itself is organized under three distinct labs. dive in to the details about what makes each lab distinctive. Our labs are staffed with digital archivists and lab assistants capable of recovering data from a wide variety of digital carriers including whole computing systems, cds and dvds, thumb drives, sd cards, zip disks and floppy disks.
