Screen Time The Watching Habits Of Anime Fans Animechicago I only started actively watching anime over the last two years, so not much time for any watching habits or rituals i've adopted to change as of yet. personally, i don't see them changing much in the future anyway. To kick the discussion off i'll run over my biggest viewing change over my year and a half of watching. so like most people i imagine i first came into contact with anime in the shounen genre and that is what initially got me into anime.

I watched yugioh gx and pokemon actively, but also "anime like" shows like avatar. when i was 14 16 i watched deathnote and really liked it, i wanted to see more anime but i thought "weebs" are odd and i couldn't find good shows. As the years have progressed since then and i've gone from university to having a full time job plus freelancing, i've had less and less time to watch new anime.
So How Did Anime Change Your Life Anime Discussion Anime Forums When i first started with anime i would binge watch anything from 12 24 episodes of any given anime. i did soon learn to have some sort of structure to my viewing habits as i would inevitably run out of material. As the years have progressed since then and i've gone from university to having a full time job plus freelancing, i've had less and less time to watch new anime. Other than that, the main changes would be me slowly getting over my aversion to watching anime seasonally, shifting from streaming to torrenting, and changes in what anime communities i am active in. It didn’t change as much, but i gradually started liking k on more and the more i really thought about it. when i first watched it, i thought it was an okay slice of life show that i’d probably forget about and i still felt that way when i finished (although i thought the ending was excellent).
