The mission of the international diabetes federation is to improve the lives of people with diabetes and prevent diabetes in those at risk. Diabetes foundation’s mission is to improve the health and wellness of individuals living with or at risk of diabetes through equitable, accessible, compassionate, high quality care. The diabetes research institute houses teams of scientists, engineers, and clinicians with the expertise required to tackle diabetes from many angles. this integration of medicine and technology drives the vision behind the dri strategy, a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to cure diabetes. The world diabetes foundation provides funding for projects focused on diabetes care, prevention, and advocacy, but does not cover costs such as medication, construction, research, travel grants, heavy equipment, and core running costs like salaries and utilities. We are a non profit umbrella organisation of 251 national diabetes associations in 158 countries and territories, working together to improve and empower the lives of the estimated 590 million people living with diabetes and prevent diabetes in those at risk. Idf mission is to increase global awareness of diabetes, promote appropriate care and prevention, and encourage research activities for a possible cure for the different types of diabetes.
