The Hackathon Fast Track From Campus To Silicon Valley The New York Hackerspace.gr is a physical space dedicated to creative code and hardware hacking, in athens. it is a 120sq.m. space open almost 24 7. we are a collection of hackers, programmers, builders, makers, & artists. our members use the space to work on projects and share ideas. During the hackathon, more than 400 participating students conceived and developed projects to address issues in sustainability. several dozen students from usc, ucla, the claremont colleges, and caltech attended events on campus while many others joined hacktech remotely from around the world. Thirty two graduate students from around the world participated in the caltech space challenge with the goal of designing a space mission to visit venus and a nearby comet. Lucky students with the hands on to go with the books, i wish i would have had an opportunity like that in college. good interview questions too, thanks. A space for sharing, creation, collaboration, research, development, mentoring, and learning. our motto is: "let's make stuff awesome!".
