Softspot sdk in previous versions was not reliable. support has been entirely removed. calls to the sdk will now return an error.

Applications can send commands to datalogic softspot through a set of api intents. these intents perform the same actions that are available through the softspot application. When softspot is enabled, its initial position is defined by the sample spot shown on this screen. the starting position may be changed by touching the spot and dragging it to any of the pre defined positions. The softspot settings screen provides controls for configuring the actions, appearance, and general operation of the softspot, as well as management of configuration settings.
