River Delta Reworked Paradox Mods The dams being flipped with left hand traffic enabled, definitely is a dam breaking bug the developers need look at, as well, because it's impossible for the dams to function and generate power when flipped. The key thing is that the dam won't start turbines (and generate) power before it's generated a resevoir that is tall enough for the walls. so you may have better luck placing a slightly shorter one in the same place. The problem with additional building slots is a generic problem with anything that gives that sort of bonus throughout the game. once you have all the industrial tech you have 100% building slots which is a nice round number so there are no unused fractions left over for a bonus to add to. Dams work based on the level difference of the water before and after the dam. if you are going to build a reservoir behind the dam, you need to drop the water level after the dam. I searched through reddit and paradox bug report forum for this bug, and couldn't find any post saying there was a patch released or a fix was found. it seems like this problem persisted since the release of the game.
