Cure For Mito Posters Mitochondrial Research Guild Each year for our annual auction we created posters about children from our mito community. below are the posters from our 15th auction in 2017. special thanks goes to beckie garaas and sandy rudy for all the effort they put into creating these posters. Mito foundation supports people affected by mitochondrial disease (mito), funds essential research into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cures of mitochondrial disorders, and increases awareness and education about this devastating disease.
Cure For Mito Posters Mitochondrial Research Guild The guild was founded by a group of families in the seattle area that are working together to raise awareness, promote research, and improve the quality of medical care that is available to children that are dealing with the devastating and potentially life threatening effects of mitochondrial disease. The recipient is recognized for leadership and commitment towards a cure for mitochondrial diseases, whether through research or medical treatment, and inspiration has resulted in bringing new scientific or medical experts into the field. Mitocure is a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding research and raising awareness for mitochondrial disease. founded by the cunningham family after the loss of their daughter kelly, we strive to find a cure and support those affected by this debilitating condition.
