Blue missions empowers the youth to advocate for a world where there is water for all, forever. through service projects and sustainability education, blue connects families in latin america to clean, fresh water and inspires young people to lead the way to a water secure future. In 2021, tea's career and technical education (cte) team began developing a platform to map out programs of study across the state. the 2021 release is self reported 2019 2020. A national challenge that invited high schools to bring space missions to students by designing and building cubesat prototypes. this new annual format for prize competitions will promote continuous school engagement, building a long term ecosystem of support. To help teams develop submissions, we created an online hub with curated educational resources and hosted virtual sessions with experts from academia, government, and industry — including cubesat inventor bob twiggs and leaders from blue origin, spacex, nasa, faa, and usgs. The series encourages schools to explore resources and winning submissions from past competitions, including cte makeover challenge and cte mission: cubesat, both designed and produced by luminary labs.
