The university library at california state university, northridge is hosting the gohstand leisure reading room lecture series featuring educator and literacy advocate maryanne wolf, author of “reader, come home: the reading brain in a digital world,” who will examine the constant digital engagement that can undermine deep reading, empathy, and critical thinking. Welcome, new matadors!. Csun staff members gathered at the sundial fountain in front of bayramian hall to advocate for pay raises that were not delivered in their union contracts by the csu system.
