A research strategy within a hospital trust in south west england was revised, following the launch of a national chief nursing officer (cno) strategy that promotes research engagement and activity. the aim was to develop, implement and evaluate this revised strategic plan for research.

Crn y&h exceeded the target of 1000 surveys completed to collect 1453 replies. in addition, the network held the first inter regional patient research ambassadors (pra) champions meeting with crn north east & north. The event will explore how digital technologies can further and better support us all in the delivery of high quality research in health and social care, as well as sharing successes and. Results: ninety seven pre registration nursing students responded. most students agreed that they had enjoyed using the resources, had improved understanding of clinical research, anticipated being actively involved in research and would consider a future clinical research role. This funding is part of the crn north east and north cumbria core funding allocation and as such the principles which apply to other elements of infrastructure funding also apply to this funding, these are detailed below.
