But i think you bashed it harder than you should've. it's a decent laid back game. i tried don't starve long back and thought it's a little intensive to enjoy while i didn't find that problem here. also it's been long enough so i don't remember don't starve very well but does it have more character dialogues and interactions than this one?. I'd recommend crashlands, the "levels" are more or less variants of the same missions and enemies, but the replayability and value is highly entertaining. it can be mindless and relaxing building and farming, and also intense and upsetting in combat. The difficulty floor is a bit higher than original crashlands, but pretty close. the difficulty ceiling is a lot higher, since combat is a lot more interesting. it's hard to say how it compares to those other games, since it's quite different.
