Covid 19 Core Post covid 19 condition (also known as long covid) is a new, complex, and poorly understood disorder. a core outcome set (cos) for post covid 19 condition in adults has been developed and agreement is now required on the most appropriate measurement instruments for these core outcomes. A core set of outcome measures aids in describing the trajectory of recovery from covid 19 and facilitates research initiatives.
Covid 19 Core Since march 2020, core has been supporting equitable distribution of covid 19 resources. in partnership with local communities, we have been providing free vaccines, testing, and essential services, with a focus on underserved, low income communities. Respiratory failure, multiple organ failure, shortness of breath, recovery, and mortality have been identified as critically important core outcomes by more than 9300 patients, health professionals, and the public from 111 countries in the global coronavirus disease 2019 core outcome set initiative. Our review of the published literature, combined with input from the questionnaires, identified three core domains to be included in a minimal common outcome set: mortality, viral load, and clinical course (progression and recovery).
