Convertible Beetle Thread Artofit Looking forward to getting my knuckles bloody! windows are operable but cranky, pun intended. the actuator mechanism in the convertible appears to be significantly different from what was in the sedans, and i'd love to hear from anyone who has performed maintenance on the vert setup. Up until recently, we’ve been mainly dealing with the older new beetle a4 convertible, top issues; on the a5, 2012 to 2019 convertible, beetle, being so much newer we haven’t seen as much problems but now people are starting to (like yourself).
