The current debate over the extent of polarization in the american mass public focuses on the extent to which partisans' policy preferences have moved. This year, in addition to its regular and semi regular features, containing multitudes is going to feature a series of posts from the members of our new editorial committee, made up of a number of our supremely talented postgraduates. We encompass literature and drama, history, politics, and foreign relations. staff specialisms include american urban history, the international history of the cold war, civil rights, ecocriticism, american popular culture, comics and graphic novels, and contemporary multi ethnic american literature and film.
