1969 Conn 6h Triple C Valve Trombone Valve Trombones R Us Legendary large bore valve trombone based on the conn 8h. with the valve section of a conn baritone and the bell section of a large bore tenor, this horn produces a huge, rich sound unlike any other valve trombone. Specifically developed for the marching band, combining big trombone sound with easy handling. same fingering as valve trombone, euphonium, and baritone horn. same bell as the famous conn 88h, but the 90g produces a different tone than bass trombone.

Conn Valve Trombone 1960 S Make Brass Exchange The conn 90g is a rare, large bore valve trombone originally developed around 1970 for the ohio state university marching band, who wanted a bigger sound than the king trombonium. its bell section is essentially that of a conn 8h mounted on a euphonium style valve section. Sometime a decade ago i saw photos of a 90g, where the nickel plating over the nut joining the bell section and the body was so smooth that it looked like the joint was not intended to be taken apart. It's like a valve trombone, but upright and with more "normal" dimensions. the bore is like a symphonic tenor at .547 and the bell is 8 1 2". looks like a nice horn for some uses. very fine condition. nickel plated with lacquer over it. case is included. the pistons look great. The trombonium "has none of the disadvantages of the valve trombone in holding, neither has it the excess amount of straight tubing which makes the valve trombone hard to blow and difficult to play in tune." this instrument has the honor of being the last creation of mr. white before his death.
