The Union This cxr comes from a 3 month old baby. note the compression of the bronchus on the right caused by enlarged perihilar and subcarinal lymph nodes. a normal thymic shadow can also be seen on this cxr. this cxr was contributed by etienne leroy terquem from support pneumologique international. This cxr shows complicated lymph node disease – there are enlarged paratracheal and perihilar lymph nodes on the right with compression of the bronchus and the trachea is deviated to the left (pushed across by the lymph nodes).
