Evaluation Of Different Tcp Congestion Control Algorithms Using Ns 2 In our project, we will evaluate the congestion control algorithms in reno, vegas and sack tcp from different aspects. first, we will compare the performance of these algorithms: how much of the available network bandwidth does it utilize? how frequently does it retransmit packets? how does it modify window size on congestion?. In this paper, we have shown a comparative analysis of throughput, delay and queue length for the various congestion control algorithms red, sfq and rem. we also included the comparative analysis of loss rate having different bandwidth for these algorithms.

Ns2 Tcp Congestion Control Ns2 Simulator Projects Ns2 is a network simulation tool, here three network congestion control algorithms on tcp connection for two traffic flows compared using ns2 and plotting average characteristics. This project conducts a comprehensive evaluation of multiple tcp congestion control algorithms using the ns 2 simulation tool. the study explores how these algorithms perform under various network conditions and provides valuable insights into their adaptability and effectiveness in managing network congestion. In this paper, we focus on the degree of fairness provided to tcp connections by comparing two packet scheduling algorithms at the router. the first one is fifo (first in first out, or drop tail), which is widely used in the current internet routers because of its simplicity. A detailed performance analysis of the enhanced tcp congestion control algorithms namely tahoe, new reno, and vegas is performed and simulations are used to evaluate its performance under different network conditions such as high latency, constant bit rate (cbr) bandwidth load, and varying traffic loads. This paper investigates the characteristics of tahoe, reno, new reno, vegas, and sack, and calculated their throughputs in simulated environment using ns 2 simu. Using the ns2 simulator, two alternative situations were created: one with a single tcp flow and the other with two. according to the performance investigation, tcp vegas outperforms other protocols because it detects and monitors congestion early in the process.
