The Flood Hub This community flood resilience toolkit contains all the resources you need as a basic introduction to forming a community flood group and becoming more flood resilient as a community. Flood hub is designed for governments, humanitarian aid organizations, and people directly at risk. by providing timely and accurate flood warnings, it empowers city authorities and public services to better prepare for and respond to flood events, manage resources, and protect their communities. The flood hub provides users with locally relevant flood data and flood forecasts up to 7 days in advance so they can take timely action. it is a visual, easy to use resource that displays local riverine flood maps and water trends and gives real time flood forecasts and alerts based on google's ai models and global data sources. The team supports individuals, businesses and communities to manage their flood risk by planning ahead for flooding, developing flood action groups, producing flood plans and gaining knowledge so that they can be better prepared and more resilient to the effects of flooding.
