Community Engagement Support For Developing The Hiv Integrated Care Our team uses linked clinical and multisector non‐clinical data to study how residential mobility and connection to social services influence the hiv care continuum. we engage a diverse group of individuals living with hiv and other invested community members to guide and inform this research. These recommendations were updated in 2014, in 2020, and again in 2025* to help research staff and community representatives expand, strengthen, and forge new partnerships, with the ultimate goal of facilitating effective community engagement in all aspects of hiv clinical trials research.
Community Engagement This scoping review aims to understand how cbiss have been implemented, integrated, and used to support community health outcomes in low and middle income countries (lmics). The georgia health policy center is assisting the georgia dept. of public health’s office of hiv and aids with the development of the next hiv integrated care plan. ghpc will assist with project management, meeting facilitation, data collection and synthesis, and editing. Fostering Hiv Innovation Through Community Engagement Itpc Global Through a combination of case studies, consultations, and community led research, the report will spotlight successful models of integrated service delivery that include hiv care, sexual and reproductive health, mental health, harm reduction, and social protection. Given the behavioural, social, and biomedical dimensions of hiv prevention, early, systematic, and integrated community engagement is essential. The scoping review that included 12 studies has indicated that community programs integration in hiv and health services is a potentially effective strategy to address the growing shortage of health workers and to broaden care to accommodate the needs associated with chronic hiv aids. As progress is being made to reach the unaids 95 95 95 targets, one of the key public health challenges for hiv lies in optimising continuity of care and effectively re engaging people out of care. across settings, up to 40–50% of individuals diagnosed with hiv are disengaged from hiv care. Hiv tb are comorbidities and their integrated care has largely been mainstreamed in public health discourse and policy. but community engagement for the two largely operates in silos, when it could be more effective if integrated. hiv’s history of community engagement offers valuable lessons for tb. The purpose of this paper is to examine the implementation strategies that employed community engagement to support the adaptation and uptake of bundled interventions to improve care and treatment outcomes for black women with hiv as part of the black women first initiative.
