Emory University Class Of 2019 This two week, non graded virtual experience, which specifically targets students who intend to apply to and pursue a career in internal medicine (or an im subspecialty), exposes students to a thriving academic medical center and careers in medicine. At Emory School Of Medicine These Brothers Are In It Together Emory This isn't just by itself volunteer community work, it's also connected to who you're going to become a physician, and why it's so important to have this background and experience in the real world, and how it ties back to what you're seeing and learning in medical school. All students complete an in depth, mentored research project of 5 months or more, which leads to one or more scholarly products. students participate in a learning community, including faculty facilitated small groups, from matriculation through graduation. Our programs and partnerships help students and members of the emory community extend their classroom knowledge, lived experiences, skills, and interests so they can engage fully with the community in a socially responsible way. Emory students utilize their fall and spring breaks to engage communities across the southeast in important, real world social justice issues and concerns.
