Sfmta and via's new bayview shuttle program aims to address transportation inequities in a san francisco neighborhood that has long endured environmental and connectivity challenges. Every day, the sfmta strives to meet those expectations. but, as our population and jobs continue to grow, and given our limited street space, we know that we have no choice but to move more. Both community transit’s zip shuttle pilot and the sfmta’s bayview shuttle will work to improve connectivity and access to transportation options within their respective communities. As the sfmta has continued to restore service throughout 2021, job access has improved even further. the map below shows the area accessible by transit from hunters point within 30, 45, and 60 minutes (as of may 2021).
