I don't consider myself an active collector anymore, but i still follow the hobby and will occasionally pick up a book here and there. found this one for a really cheap price so i took it home.
Comic Book Collectors Does Anyone Know About This Comic In five decades of collecting comics, i don't believe i've ever seen a case where a full run sold for more than the sum of its parts. so if you're looking to complete a run because you think that will make it more valuable, i suggest you do some additional research. I’ve never considered myself a collector, i love this stuff and i consider myself a “keeper. today, being a collector means that you actively trade and sell. i just “keep’ and enjoy. I don’t consider myself a comic book collector, but i guess that could change now. my father in law passed down a small coin and comic book collection . I like the attitude of both of those owners and i will be back soon to pick up more books from those lcs. all my lcs books are over priced and one does counter pricing.

To assist both types of comic book collector, comic book price guides are available and provide estimates of comic book values as well as information on comic book creators and characters. My point is that i don't need to be a collector any longer. there's been a clear and successful distinction between content and its delivery mechanisms. i can focus my resources on the content, which is what interests me, and ignore the delivery system that collectors follow. Although a self professed dc fangirl, i don’t buy comics from either of the “big two” of comics publishing, marvel or dc. none of this was done consciously, but somehow i’ve become a comics fan who doesn’t read comics.
