Comenius Project Home Its name derives from the 17th century czech educator john amos comenius. education was an absolute necessity for komensky. he advocated adapting the transmission of knowledge to each student. Part of the eu’s lifelong learning programme, the comenius actions aim to help young people and educational staff better understand the range of european cultures, languages and values.
Comenius Project Odp In all, nearly 500 organisations across the 31 countries now participating in socrates will implement the new initiatives. comenius is the part of the socrates european education action programme that targets schools. The comenius programme contributes to the innovation and improvement of secondary vocational education and higher education in the netherlands. this directly benefits students and gives education professionals the opportunity to develop further in their career. The comenius program aims to improve dutch higher education through educational innovations. the comenius grants enable higher education professionals to put their ideas for educational innovation into practice.
