Chc convened 12 regional coalitions of healthcare professionals and advocates in its first 13 years—educational, faith, and community based organizations that collaborated to identify and respond to gaps in healthcare access for south la residents. The coalition on economic resiliency was created in september 2019 by the social change institute at rising communities. in our first convening, we invited 100 leaders from los angeles to dialogue on ten different topics:. Rc identifies sustainable and systemic solutions to improve the economic resiliency for communities like south la. rc has been a catalyst in calling out inequities and advancing policies in south la and other communities across the county, state and nation.
