This study examines the structure, objectives, and functions of coir societies in kerala, highlighting their role in rural employment and industrial development.
Co Operative Coir Coirfed runs 11 factories for producing various coir related products. coirfed runs around 50 signature shops throughout the country. The research aimed to identify and analyse the constraints faced by the coir workers and the coir cooperative societies throughout the coir yarn production process.
