The centre of natural hazards and disaster science, cnds, is a national platform for research on the nexus between socio technical vulnerability and extreme events. cnds researchers are affiliated with the swedish defence university, karlstad university and uppsala university. We will celebrate on 14 february 2025, at universitetshuset (uppsala university), from 13:15 to 17:30 (including a mingle session). the program will feature insights from cnds leaders, presentations by early career scientists, and contributions from our esteemed international collaborators. Uppsala university is hosting the event "cnds 15 years – recipes for successful interdisciplinary research environments addressing grand societal challenges" 🎉.
