Closing Looping Reform Chemical looping reforming (clr) is defined as a process that utilizes an oxygen carrier to convert hydrocarbons into hydrogen and syngas with high energy efficiency, minimizing carbon emissions by regenerating the oxygen carrier through oxidation. Chemical looping reforming (clr) provides a viable process intensification approach for clean and efficient syngas production from carbonaceous fuel with inherent gas–gas separation.
